Grand Finale Event

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM 

Join us as we conclude the yearlong celebration of our pipe organ’s 25th birthday!

 

We begin with a presentation on the Holtkamp organ, before sharing a catered lunch while watching a photographic journey of our organ being built in February 2000. (Lunch registrations are now closed.) Organist Michael Rees will give the closing recital at 2:30 PM.

Mark your calendar and plug in your crockpot! Atonement's Chili Cookoff is back on November 16th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM!

 

We are looking for TEN or more contestants to make their special chili recipe and serve it at the Cookoff. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (and there will also be an award for the SPICIEST chili!)!

 

All are welcome! Attendees will vote for their favorite recipe. We are looking for people to help with setup, cleanup, and to bring food other than chili.

This year, we are inviting eight households to light the Advent Wreath at the beginning of each of the services--along with sharing an already prepared reading and prayer--during the four-week season of Advent, beginning Sunday, November 30th.

Join us for evening worship on Wednesday, November 26th at 7:00 PM!

 

Drop-in Choir: Meet downstairs in the Choir Room at 6:00 PM to learn a simple anthem and the hymns for the evening. All are welcome!

 

Stay after worship to enjoy a variety of pies for our annual Pie Fellowship. Our theme is “Everything BUT Pumpkin Pie!”

 

Bakers are welcome and needed. Please contact the church office to let us know what you'll bring!
