The King of the Instruments for Kids!

Children up to 5th grade are invited to attend a one-hour program teaching them about the power of the King of the Instruments!

 

We will color, sing, and listen to all the different sounds of the organ. Activities will be directed towards Pre-K through 5th graders, but parents with younger children are welcome to come and enjoy some music in a more informal setting. Registration not required.

 

From 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, middle and high school students are invited to have a private 20-minute organ lesson with Annika. Students will be able to try all the buttons, sounds, and settings of our pipe organ! Piano students will really enjoy this, but all are welcome regardless of their musical experience. First Communion Instruction is open to all children whose parents wish them to commune.

 

In the Lutheran tradition, First Communion is celebrated when a child reaches the age of 9 or older, typically 4th grade and older. However, we acknowledge that the desire and readiness for the reception of Holy Communion may vary among children. Therefore, we leave this decision up to each parent. 

 

Please register and plan on attending this 60-minute session with child and parent(s). At least one parent or guardian is required to attend with their child. Please bring your own sack lunch to the class.

Palm Sunday, April 13th 2025

Join us for worship at 9:00 AM on Palm Sunday and wave palm leaves during the opening hymn.

 

Then, hunt for eggs and enjoy refreshments after the service. Rain or shine!

 

Join us for worship during Holy Week! Start the week with Palm Sunday on April 13th and an Easter Egg Hunt in between worship times.

 

During the week, we will gather for evening worship on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM. Then we will rejoice together on Easter morning proclaiming our risen king at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM! All are welcome, come and see!

Sunday Stay & Play on April 27th!

When: Sunday, April 27th, following the 10:30 AM worship service, from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Where: The Gym & JAM Room

Details: Open gym and light lunch for families with kids up to 5th grade. No cost! Come & See!
